Nicosia, also known as Lefkosa in Northern Cyprus

is a city of unique charm and historical significance. It serves as the capital of the self-declared Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and is the only divided capital city in the world.

The city is marked by a striking blend of ancient and modern influences, with well-preserved historical sites such as the Buyuk Han (Great Inn) and Selimiye Mosque juxtaposed against a backdrop of contemporary shops, restaurants, and bustling streets.

One of the city's most iconic features is the Green Line, a buffer zone that separates the northern and southern parts of the city, offering a poignant reminder of the island's complex political history.

Nicosia/Lefkosa is a place where history and culture meet, providing a unique experience for visitors keen to explore its diverse heritage.
